Web hosting is the service where your content is uploaded and stored to a server by the web host.   In turn, people will actually be seeing your site specifically because the web host’s servers are accessed each time a visitor goes to your site. 

A Yahoo domain is the company that lets you register a dot com or dot net address.  You also get access to a control panel which allows you to configure options such as redirects (where you have multiple website addresses all leading to the same actual website).

Marketing tools should never be ignored.  You can have a site all day long, but if you don’t market it properly, no one will see your site, and the site will be basically be a waste of cyber space!  Always market and advertise.
